From Convocations to the APEX Event Series!

From Convocations to the APEX Event Series!

It is our great pleasure to introduce you to the Convocations Series for the 2017 – 2018 season! In addition to a fantastic lineup of events, you will notice a brand new look for the series. We are transitioning to become THE A.P.E.X. Event Series, which will include the prestigious level of academic speakers you have come to associate with the series, but will also have some other types of events to attract more of our student, faculty, staff and community audiences.  The name is an acronym that stands Ask, Ponder and Educate, with the [X] representing the wide range of topics you can see each week. You can expect a series full of diversity, excellence, thought-provoking discussions, career findings and even laughs - a little something for everyone! Some of this season’s topics include aviation, dolphin research, sketch comedy from NYC, political journalism, outdoor adventuring and much much more!
